If you’re concerned about data being added to the balloon race – we delete everything after 6 months (the software is programmed to delete a balloon or duck that’s more than 6 months old). Your information is only shared with the event organiser so they can contact the winners of the race.
If you’re a balloon race organiser and you’re uploading data by CSV I would rather you used the fake emails populated in the CSV uploads.
The only info I keep is from the person who ordered the balloon race – so I can send offers & updates. Like Halloween themes, Easter backgrounds, Christmas races and ocasional coupon codes. If you don’t wish to receive offers there’s a very clear “unsubscribe” option at the bottom of every email.
The payment you make to setup the balloon race pays for the software – rather than a free balloon race and me selling all your data. Balloonrace.com has zero advertisements, when you scroll down the leaderboard of YOUR race you see only your race participants. The leaderboard is not seperated with junky adverts and your race homepage shows only your information.
I’ll never ask you for your phone number.
