Trinity Shopping Mall in Leeds put on a real show for it’s Christmas light switch on. For the grand finale we dropped 1500 balloons & 50 large balloons with flashing lights inside.
The flashing lights have a small spring attached that activates the lights when the spring moves. When the nets are up high in the ceiling none of the lights flash until the balloons are dropped.
This is our 3rd shopping mall drop. Obviously we can’t rig things like this when the malls are open so we have to work overnight starting at 10pm Friday and finishing at 3.30am Saturday. Saturday was a long day waiting for the 5pm show (with way too much coffee) but the end result was well worth it.
