SPAR Balloon Wall

Spar balloon wall

Spar balloon wall built on the 1st Floor, Barclaycard Arena. As these walls get more popular it’s becoming important to incorporate a logo. In the 1990’s precision walls were good for a while until the star cloth became a better option. Now that everybody wants to share a selfie (or a snap of their kids) balloon walls are back – nobody wants a selfie in front of a star cloth.

This particular promotion was executed really well. The screen we built the wall around displayed tweets with the required hashtag. This encouraged users to type the # before they posted to see themselves on the BIG screen.

The 3ft balloons were screen printed – but it was difficult to get the logo exactly straight when placing on the wall. I think vinyl logos applied to the balloons within the wall would have worked better.

UPDATE: Yes the Vinyl logos work better. As the balloons are all different sizes and at random angles it’s easier to add the vinyls after the wall has been made. On this Wicked Wall example we added vinyls in different sizes before we finally balloon shined (polished) the wall.
