500 Balloon drop installed in The Savoy Hotel for a charity fundraising ball, the balloons were released when the charity total hit £1 million raised.
The tech guys at the hotel prepared two ceiling hooks for us at 20ft apart. This sounds straight forward but when we attached the net the whole thing was missing the dance floor and hanging over a table.
There are only certain areas of the ceiling where we are allowed to attached to but eventually we came to a compromise by rigging the drop from 1 central hook across the dance floor and over the band.
