We decorated the Prince of Wales Theatre in Leicester Square with 800 helium filled ‘Phantom of the Opera’ balloons. This was to celebrate their 30th anniversary, I was at college 30 years ago on Charing Cross Road and I remember all the London Buses covered in the Phantom branding.
Phantom is playing at Her Majestys Theatre so we were decorating the after show party just across the road. Currently The Book of Mormon is showing at The Prince of Wales so all 800 balloons had to be hidden on the 3rd floor and put on display at 10.45pm after the show had finished.
